Disability, Adaptive Living & Advocacy Resources
Life after an injury or diagnosis comes with a lot of questions. Where do I find equipment? Who can explain my rights? Where do I meet people who get it? I built this page to help you answer those. Every link below leads to a real organization. Start with the section that fits your week.
Not sure where to start?
Need a person to talk to?
Call Tennessee Disability Pathfinder or connect with United Spinal peer mentoring.
Need equipment?
Email The Hub, our community medical supply closet.
Need someone in your corner?
Contact Disability Rights Tennessee for free legal advocacy.

Funding
Equipment, therapy, and accessibility costs add up fast. I keep a separate page of grants, scholarships, and financial assistance.
Get Involved
Policy works better when lived experience is in the room. Through the Tennessee Chapter of United Spinal, I advocate on accessible transportation, Medicaid and healthcare access, wheelchair repair reform, and disability rights and community inclusion.
Three small steps you can take this week:
- Save the Pathfinder number in your phone: 1-800-640-4636.
- Follow the Tennessee Disability Coalition to see which bills affect you.
- Reach out to the United Spinal Tennessee chapter and ask about peer mentoring.
"Carry each other's burdens." (Galatians 6:2) You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to do it all at once. Pick one link and start there.
Need a hand finding the right fit?
Tell me where you are, and I'll point you to a next step.
